How easy that must have been! My name right on the tag! With "Stay at home!" How perfect. It didn't hurt that it was wrapped around a navy robe: one of Don's favorite colors on an item that would replace my 24 year old robe that was then boasting a huge hole near the shoulder. Despite his dislike of shopping, Don thoughtfully braves the stores near Christmas and my birthday. I've often laughed that this change has occurred gradually. As a new bride when I most wanted personal gifts, he would bring me practical things. Now that I can appreciate practical, he buys me frivolous presents that he doesn't even enjoy shopping for. And I find myself thankful for my husband! I appreciate the heart behind each gift he brings me, and his desire to show me love through gifts.
Of course, there are times when frivolous (I was planning to mend my old robe) and practicality (it really was beyond repair) meet... Don found the perfect gift for me this year - soft and cuddly, warm and comfortable. And with such priceless packaging, there were a lot of giggles when I opened the package, and that might have been my favorite part of our Christmas gift exchange.

Truly said -- practicality and frivilous sometimes meet perfectly! And I think navy blue will suit your beautifully!
